Masks

Covid brought many new practices into our world. One was wearing face masks. Early into the spread of the virus, CDC which is the  U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended wearing face masks.  The recommendation was to wear the most protective mask possible that fit well and is comfortable.  N95 marks were stated to give the most protection but since not everyone has access to those masks, cloth masks were commonly worn even though according to the CDC they give less protection.

As Covid spread and more become known about the disease, and the vaccine was developed, CDC guidelines changed.
A popular question became, Can face masks help slow the spread of the virus? The answer was that face masks combined with other preventive measures, such as getting vaccinated, frequent hand-washing and physical distancing, can help slow the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.

We have no medical knowledge of Covid, its spread or the effect of wearing masks. But we do know many people feel comfortable wearing a cloth mask so we have made the masks in several sizes and styles.  In most cases we use 100% cotton, however there are a few masks made with stretch knit material.

We make the cloth masks in children and adult sizes and have patterns for sport teams, universities, military allegiance, hobbies and special interests.

The masks come with small beads attached to the elastic so you can adjust the fit to suit your liking.  If you do not want the beads, simply slide them off.

The decision to wear or not wear a cloth face mask is a personal choice based on each persons understanding of the latest medical advice.  We do not claim to advocate for or against the masks, we simply make them available to those wishing to wear a cloth face mask.
